OMI Identifies Monday’s Plane Crash Victims

The Office of the Medical Investigator has identified Randy Rupert, 42, and Matthew Porter, 42, as the men who died in the plane crash early Monday morning near Golden in southern Santa Fe County.
The single-engine plane is registered to Rupert.
Both men had been employed for some 12 years at Los Alamos National Laboratory and were reportedly on their way to work when the small plane crashed in heavy snow and fog.
